When I bought my first Mach 3, it worked great, and the initial blade lasted for about three weeks. The refills that came with it lasted similarly long.
Then I bought refills, and each blade was dull within a week and a half.
About two years ago, I found a place on the Web that sold cryonically-treated razor cartridges (you can Google for "cryogenically tempered Mach 3 razor"). They were slightly more expensive than most Web retailers, but they last at least three times as long... I'm just now running out of them (I think I bought 32, and gave eight to my dad).
Anyway, I only posted this because these cartridges popped up as the top recommendation on my home page. Weird.

1) The packaging color was slightly faded. (1st red flag) 2) The blade did not snap on my handle securely (2nd red flag) 3) Blades did not shave but rather pulled my facial hair out (3rd red flag)
The **REAL** mach 3 blades are fabulous, these are clearly of a lesser build quality.... Stay away. Currently seeking a refund. Please read the other reviews.

***Update*** I was given a full refund no questions asked. Hope Infinite-Surplus find, remove and replace these blades with official Mach 3 blades.

Be careful!! These are not Mach3 Turbo blades, which are much smoother than these Mach3. It was like night and day going from the Mach3 Turbo to this. I would not buy these again, because even with a new blade from this pack it was the equivalent of a Mach3 Turbo blade that I had used for 2 weeks.

I will not purchase these blades ever again. Upon receiving, I noticed that the packaging was slightly faded and when you open up the actual blades, the gel coating (the strip of green/blue) had actually MELTED on some parts of the blades. This concludes that the storage facility of these products are not the best of conditions, which will harm the performance of the actual blades against your hair.
It gave me cuts and provided a more intense sting on the facial skin than blades usually do.
Avoid.

BUYER BEWARE!! The Mach3 blades I received from this buyer were clearly COUNTERFEIT! Do not waste your money - as DAB does not care that they are selling this illegal product and I was refused a refund. I have been using Mach3 blades for a year or so and have been pleased with the results. The first blade I tried from this seller felt old, used, defective, ineffective. My face was left burning and scratched. I continued using for a few more days, threw the first blade out and tried another. Same results. After a month or so of this I finally did some research, and discovered that the blades I received were clearly counterfeit. SHAME on this seller for continuing to sell this counterfeit (read: ILLEGAL) product. I will boycott this seller for their illegal activity - and I advise you all to do the same.

A friend told me that he buys his shaving blades from Amazon so I gave it a try. It was cheaper. But not by much once shipping was included. These Mach 3 were the worst blades I ever used. I have been shaving with the Mach 3 for many years and although these blades were new in the box, every one of them hurt my face. All 16 of them. It seemed like they were defective or something and I had to throw them all away. Will not buy blades from here again. I never had a problem with the same blades bought from a retail store.

I've been using this for years and i've tried more expensive products but this is really the best. Keeps my face clean and not oily, only down side is that when i run out i start breaking out a bit. I make sure i keep a good stash.

I brought this product cause i needed something to help clear my skin from pimps and breakouts. And wow after one day of using it I could see my pimps starting to fade away. and i Love how when i put it on I can feel it working what is said is true u do feel a tingleing feeling when u use it.I love this product I don't know how I went so long with out it. I have com. skin and it works great. I love it and one of the best parts about the product is a little goes a long way. I only squeeze a little on my hand it covers alot. LOVe it
